 Glamour Girl Quote:

" A Glamour Girl is a woman whose beautiful inner light shines on the outside, and when you see her, you see a woman who is truly a work of art and inspiration!"

Who is Your Model Idol and why?

"My model Idol is definitely Chrystal Renn.  She is a supermodel and I really think she has shown alot of people that plus models can be high fashion, and she has worked with so many huge names in the fashion world. I love her look as well because I have always been kind of shy that I'm very fair skinned. I don't tan very easily and I think tanning beds are unhealthy, and self tanner makes a mess. I think dark skin is very sexy, but I just was always so fair, but Chrystal Renn is very pale and she works with it. I like that. I also love curvy singers like Mariah Carey and Beyonce. I like how they like their bodies and show them off. And I always loved Kate Winslet and the classic pin up girls like Marilyn Monroe, and Bettie Page. They would be considered plus size today even if people don't want to admit that."

What inspired you to be a Model?

"Well I was always very into my clothes and outfits when I was in high school and early college. I remember the first job I had in high school, I would spend like my whole check at the mall buying clothes, I couldn't be stopped. Than I would try them on in front of my mirror when I got home and do all these poses. I would coordinate my outfit for the next day I was so into it. I loved dressing up. After college where I majored in apparel merchandising, I gained some weight and I noticed that the clothes in my favorite stores were not fitting me anymore. I was annoyed because I still wanted to be stylish but the really cute clothes in the stores I liked, had nothing is my size anymore. I still liked my body, but I felt like the fashion industry didn't care about my needs as a curvy woman. I decided plus modeling was something I was passionate about because I don't know why the fashion industry and the media wants every woman who is not like a size 2 to go hide under a rock somewhere. I wanted to say hi world this is me and I'm happy with myself and my body. I think woman should like themselves and stop always feeling the need to obsess over every thing that media says is imperfect."

What does "Glamour Girl" mean to you?

"To me, a Glamour Girl is a woman who holds her head high and treat herself like the work of art that she is. "Glamour Girl to me is not about having the most expensive everything, but about the way you care about yourself and others. True classcomes from within, not material wealth. A "Glamour Girl" can lighten up any room she is in, and brightens up the people arounnd her and puts them in a good mood."

What goals you like to achieve in 5 years?

"I would definitely like to model for Lane Bryant or, another big plus size brand. I would love to be on the cover of Plus Model Magazine one day!! I also want to be signed with an agency. I'm going to keep trying to work on my modeling and take more pictures and just continue to learn and improve and let things progress naturally. I feel like you never know what could happen, but if you don't try at all, that's worse than not getting what you wanted. I also plan on continuing on with graduate education. School and education are very important to me and it helps me in my life, and gives direction."

Who inspires you?

"I get inspiration from everything around me. My family is number one. I also get inspired by a beautiful day, great movie, song, or a book. I feel like modeling is art and you tell a story through your photos because it inspired you in some way."

What is your message to Aspiring Models?

I would tell other woman to get out there and get your pictures taken. You will feel great. Don't feel like you are not industry standards. You make your own standards for yourself. Embrace whatever it is you feel is holding you back and make it a positive one. You have to love yourself and say hi world, I love me and you should to!!!!
