Q: What is Glamorous Curves?
A: Glamorous Curves is a Modeling & Talent Organization that is catered for the full figured community. Our mission is to assist and grant exposure to plus size women all over the US and advance their career in the Modeling, Acting and Music industry! Our goal is to let the world know that Full Figured is Fabulous and we are here to stay. We are going to shine like glitter!
Q: How can I be a Model/Actress?
A: Confidence is one of the essentials of being a Plus Size Model/Actress. You would also need to have professional pictures of yourself to present to Talent Agencies, Agent, Casting Directors as well as a resume that shows your stats, education, special skills, and experiences (if any). You can use your professional pictures to get composite cards done and build up your portfolio for a national casting calls or a high paying assignment.
For acting, you would need a color 8x10 headshot and a resume for casting calls, auditions and/or if you seek representation.
Q: What do I need to have as a Model/Actress?
A: Model - Comp cards, resume, high heels, portfolio and a diva attitude!
Actor - Headshot (color) & Resume
Q: Do I need to go to school in order to be a Model/Actress?
A: No. Anyone can pursue a career in the modeling/acting field without going to school for it. If you like to gain more knowledge, training, and opportunities in modeling/acting, then going to school would be an option for you.
Q: How can I be a Glamour Girl for Glamorous Curves?

Q: Do I need a Personal Manager/Agent?
A: Yes. A personal agent is someone who does all the work for you as far as castings, auditions, and exposure for the elite assignments. You can also obtain more exposure by auditioning for TV shows, feature films, music videos, soap operas, national fashion shows, national commercials and more!
Q: What do I need to bring for a casting call?
A: Models - Comp Cards, Resume, High Heels (4 inches or less), a set of outfit, and a diva attitude! (solid colors only, no strips, logos or words, explicit language) Some companies would accept a headshot and high heels only.
Actors- Headshot (color), Resume, and a Monologue. (2 mins or less)

Q: I'm 5'7 and under, can I still be a Model?
A: Yes. Although opportunities and exposure can be limited due to client requests and assignments depending on your height.
